A Little Comfort, Calm, and Connection FOR THE HOLIDAYS

If you’ve landed here, this page was shared with you as part of a small holiday gift — a way to extend a little comfort, calm, and connection through the season.

Here you’ll find a curated holiday playlist, a few favorite recipes I’ve made (and one I can’t wait to try), plus some thoughtful extras meant to make the weeks ahead feel just a bit smoother — whether you’re hosting, traveling, or enjoying a quiet moment at home.

Thank you for being part of our world this year. I’m so grateful for your partnership, collaboration, and trust you put in all of us at Typecast Meetings + Events.

Here’s to warmth, meaningful moments and a bright 2026 ahead!

🤍 Kristen

THe Holiday Playlist

We’ve curated a cozy mix of classics, contemporary and personal favorites — perfect for sipping cocoa, setting the mood for a gathering, or simply slowing things down.

Some of my favorite tracks include My Favorite Things sung by Hamilton actor, Leslie Odom, Jr. and a newly released song called Santa, Please from Berklee College of Music student, Ryan Peter Murphy. I stumbled upon him singing when I was shopping on Newbury Street in Boston last year.

Listen on Spotify or Apple Music using the links to the right. Enjoy!

Holiday recipes

Here’s a few comforting favorites — meant to be shared and enjoyed all season long!

Homemade Marshmallows

This recipe via Barefoot Contessa creates light, fluffy marshmallows and seems like it would be perfect for elevating a mug of hot chocolate! Nearly everything I’ve ever made with an Ina Garten recipe comes out great. I can’t wait to try these!

Cranberry Butter

Living on Cape Cod, it’s all about the cranberries. My mother made this for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit - use it on poundcake (see recipe below), toast, biscuits, scones…It’s so good.

Lemon Poundcake

I found this simple and versatile, one bowl poundcake recipe in the New York Times and since 2020, it’s become one of my go-to recipes all year round. Enjoy!
